So true. To make matters worse, I have the dreaded blog diatribe syndrome.

I cannot for the life of me write short posts.

They end up being quite lengthy, and subsequently infrequent. Nooooo :-)

I let that happen to my first blog, it wasn’t very old. I just let it die and started a new one.

I completely agree with, I have a hard time writing short posts and I try to always have meaningful step-by-step posts, so it is hard for me to post everyday.

Max, this was a great post, what a way to show it, instead of say it!
    Thanks,
    JR

Interesting results. I haven’t been posting on one of my blogs for a little over a year and it’s still getting decent traffic (my subscriber number has gone up as well). I wonder why results vary for different blogs.

My comments went up for my more recent posts. It seems like people are commenting because I have nothing else new for them to look at. And my subscriber count went up as well.

This is a good presentation that pretty sums up what you need to say. But then I always make it a point to update mine at least once a week.

If the blog is only time-sensitive, then the traffic will drop quickly. But if the blog is not time-sensitive, the drop won’t be sharp. Content type will matter.
