Commenting on DoFollow blogs is one of the best ways of getting backlinks to your blog, but it’s often hard to find high-PR blog pages to comment on. Luckily, I’ve got a foolproof method to get as many high PR backlinks as you want - for free! That’s right, all the quality dofollow high pagerank blog comments you’d ever want without paying a dime!
THE STEP-BY-STEP METHOD
1. Find a few DoFollow blogs with high homepage PR (I’ve seen a correlation between high homepage PR and high post PR). A good place to look is this list of 100 blogs using the CommentLuv plugin as well as this DoFollow search engine.
2. Download the “Google Pagerank Checker” tool on SEO Junkie. It lets you plug in a website URL and gives you the PR of all of its pages. Note: it seems to be a bit buggy as of now. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Still, it’s the only tool of its kind that I’ve found. OR: Internal Pagerank Checker OR Internal Pagerank Checker - both are still great alternatives for checking internal pagerank.
3. Insert a blog URL inside of the program and wait for it to finish its checking. Then, click the PR button to organize by high PR. Voila - you’ve got a bunch of quality dofollow backlinks to use for your link building purposes.
4. Make quality blog comments. That’s the key word here - quality. No one wants to read stuff like “gr8 post m8″ or “lol” or “click here for free medication.” In short, don’t be a comment whore.
And there you go - the easy way to comment on high PR blogs for backlinks. There’s even a way to make money off of it, but I think I’ll share this with you in a different post. If you’re clever enough, though, you’ll probably figure it out yourself ;).

I usually use SEO Quake because when you do a site command of that website you can sort by PR. I also set my Google to 100 links per page. I also use livepr.info but you can only run queries once an hour

A lot of new bloggers read that commenting is important but I don’t think they realize the need to comment on high page rank sites. Getting links on PR0 sites is so easy that comments need not be wasted there (they are much more time consuming than other link building methods). Search for PR 4 and above, bookmark those sites and comment there. And like Max says - scribbling “hey nice post” will almost always get your comments deleted.

If anyone is interested, the G-Lock blog finder is great. It’s shows: dofollow/nofollow, site and page PR. I’ve been using it for about a month now and I really can’t fault it. There is a free version but I’ve upgraded (about £30).

Then read regularly and comment on the sites. There are serveral blog commenting softwares out there which are around $50 bucks these are pretty good tools. I use one myself called fast blog finder and such a simple tool to use, it also gives the page rank of the site if do follow and much more.

DoFollow technically does not exist, however, is the absence of the nofollow tag on a link. Links with nofollow does not count as backlinks to Google and other search engines, so you do not get the search engine ranking benefit of a link with nofollow.

I was looking for the tool you mentioned in your post. That is the reason I came here. However, now neither tool link works.
You should mention that it is important that you keep your comments related to the topic of the post when leaving a comment. I have no problem providing a back link if the persona at least replies to what I wrote about.

If my root page is a static page and the blog sits under the root/blog folder and I use my root domain in the “website” field, will commenluv still find my blog and fetch the post or should I link to my blog?

A lot of blogs are not liking the use of Keywords in the title (As shown in my comment). So if you want to do comments that have keywords in them search for a blog that uses the keywordluv plugin. You can do this by searching for “this site uses keywordluv” or “yourname@yourkeywords”

Great suggestions. I would not concentrate on only high ranking pages. A good cross section of PR is a good idea. New post for example will not have a high PR, but they might in the future. Also if you are the first to comment I find people are more likely to visit your site so you will get some direct traffic as well. I agree that you need to make helpful relevant comments. I don’s authorize spam or comments that simply look like they are commenting to get the link.

Thanks for this useful information. One of the best ways to get that kind of links is to pay for quality blog comments, or doing it by yourself. In both cases you need to have quality comments, instead of spamming somebody’s blog/s.
