Stifle Blogging Creativity

Do you have too many ideas for blogging? Are they clogging up your mind? Fear not! There are many ways to destroy the creative muse within you:

Simplify your blogging room.
Remove any stray papers, pens, pencils, books, electronics – anything that can be remotely interesting. Paint your walls a monotone white (much like in a mental asylum) and close all windows. Use a plain non-swivel chair.

Limit yourself.
Block all websites other than that of your blog post writing website. Look nowhere except for your computer screen. Don’t even blink. When your eyes begin to burn, you know you’re doing it right.

No distractions.
Do you like to jam out to some Bob Marley, rock to AC/DC, or chill with some rap music? Too bad. Ceremonially burn your speakers and iPod. Think only of the blog post you are writing. Concentrate completely on it.

If you follow all of these steps then, well, congratulations! You’ve written a horribly average and uncreative blog post. I applaud your efforts.

Although these are fantastic tips I don’t think I’ll be burning my iPod any time soon, lol.

Dude. My iPod is now gone. Seriously. I’m digging the advice. My pagerank is /pathetically/ high right now. Time to take it down a notch!
